Project: NAS

My new project: Setup a NAS (Network Attached Storage) System

Project Lian Lief - FTP Server, Web Server, and Torrent Rig

Materials for this project:

My old P3 CPU (800Mhz Processor, 128MB Memory, 200GB HDD)

  •      •  Intel Celeron 1.3Ghz, 1GB DDR2 533Mhz, 200GB HDD

  •      •  PSONE LCD Display (To be used as monitor mounted on case)

  •      •  Acrylic Sheets

  •      •  Perforated sheets

    • Alluminun for frame
  •      •  Shuttle Casing
    • - 3/13/2008
  •      •  Screws



    • Softwares:

    Here are my options: OPEN NAS, OPENFILER for NAS System or maybe I'll make this project as a server and install LINUX or Windows 2003 Server.

    - GOS ( Good OS) Operating System
